One year of experience operating medium and/or heavy-duty automotive or medium and/or heavy-duty construction equipment such as 10 cubic yard (or larger) dump trucks, bucket trucks, 40-foot flatbed with tractors, backhoes, root pruners, auger trucks, bobcats, forklifts, dozers or similar equipment is required. Employees in this position operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to road graders, cranes, excavators, backhoes, mechanical harvesters, boats, skid steers, dump trucks, and equipment trailers, to support roadway, drainage, canal, and waterway operations.
