Required Qualifications: WI RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications; ability to pass EKG test within first week of hire; at least 1 year of recent strong cardiac experience including Cardiac Step Down Unit (SDU), Intermediate Cardiac, or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU); 2 years of Intermediate Medical/Surgical (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Telemetry experience; experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips; EPIC charting experience within the last year; minimum of 2 years of experience as stated; associate degree or certificate required. Unit is a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown, with diverse patient populations including post-op CABG, valve surgeries, thoracotomies, vascular cases, arrhythmias, CHF, post-procedure caths, pacers, defibrillators, ablations, acute cardiac events, and med/surg overflow like detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, resp failure, femoral pop bypass.
