Will be required to perform the following tasks: patrol an assigned area, mediate disputes, respond to calls for service, conduct searches, document suspicious behavior, detain suspicious persons, investigate criminal activity, collect evidence, interview victims and witness, arresting suspects, process prisoners, and testifying in court in accordance with Police General Orders. Under the direction of a sworn supervisor or instructor, participates in training sessions and drills to learn how to: Patrol assigned sector/beat and respond to calls for service.
