Title: Senior Accountant - NetSuite Location : Remote Target Start Date : Jan 2026 Type: CTH Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK) : $60-68/HR | $110K We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess deep, hands-on experience utilizing and optimizing NetSuite ERP in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a solid background in internal and external auditing. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, enhancing our use of NetSuite functionalities, and supporting strategic financial decision-making and compliance. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Reporting<ul><li> Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.</li><li> Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for general ledger accounts.</li><li> Generate accurate and timely internal and external financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flows.</li><li> Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant accounting regulations.</li></ul> NetSuite System Management & Optimization<ul><li> Serve as a NetSuite Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Finance Department.</li><li> Responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of the NetSuite financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition).</li><li> Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to NetSuite processes, workflows, and reporting capabilities.</li><li> Develop custom reports, searches, and dashboards within NetSuite to meet specific financial analysis and operational needs.</li><li> Assist in the training and support of other team members on NetSuite usage and best practices.</li></ul> Auditing & Internal Controls<ul><li> Lead the coordination and execution of internal and external financial audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.</li><li> Prepare and provide comprehensive audit support, including schedules, reconciliations, and explanations for complex transactions.</li><li> Evaluate and enhance the company's internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), documenting control procedures and testing their operating effectiveness.</li><li> Utilize NetSuite's features (such as user roles/permissions and audit trails) to ensure data integrity and segregation of duties (SoD).</li><li> Identify and remediate control deficiencies and process gaps noted during audit reviews.</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li> Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li> Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a role requiring extensive, hands-on NetSuite ERP experience and significant involvement with external or internal audit functions.</li><li> NetSuite Proficiency: Deep functional expertise in NetSuite modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and preferably, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).</li><li> Auditing/Controls: Strong experience supporting external audits and documenting/testing internal controls (e.g., SOX compliance).</li><li> Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).</li><li> Accounting Knowledge: Thorough understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).</li><li> Certification: CPA or CPA candidate is highly preferred.</li></ul> Skills & Competencies<ul><li> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical accounting, auditing, and NetSuite concepts clearly.</li><li> High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.</li><li> Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li><li> A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Sales).</li></ul> Welcome to ConsultNet and the family of companies, Tekne, SaltClick, TechBridge, and OmniMedia.
