Qualifications include: • Education, Experience and Certifications • Industrial electrical systems • Manufacturing utilities (air, water, HVAC, exhaust) • Production equipment installation and support • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience • 7-10+ years supporting manufacturing plant facilities • Hands-on experience with: • Experience working directly on the plant floor in an operating factory • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in high-precision, low-volume or ramping production environments • Industry experience in electro-mechanical, power-generation, EV, aerospace, or capital equipment manufacturing • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement • Experience supporting 24/7 or multi-shift operations • Core Competencies: • Plant-floor ownership mentality • Bias toward action and rapid problem resolution • Strong cross-functional collaboration • Ability to prioritize production needs in a dynamic environment • Practical, hands-on engineering mindset. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and local building codes • Manage annual Fire Drill as well as the Red Wing vouchers for safety boots • Inclement weather: Manage facility safety protocols and response actions during inclement weather to protect employees, visitors, and assets (e.g., salting walkways, backup power, etc.) • Maintain the OSHA Form 300 log and 300A summary • Support machine safety systems, interlocks, and emergency infrastructure • Champion safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions • Ensure facility changes follow proper change control and risk assessment • Ensure that all new hires are loaded into the Safety Skills platform and assign role-specific training courses.
