Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; Google Apps; Considerable knowledge of maintenance; Ability to provide attention to detail and to minimize errors; Ability to meet deadlines; Ability and physical strength sufficient to move objects; Ability to recognize and report hazards and apply safe work methods; Ability to work independently and part of a team and complete tasks in the absence of clear direction; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community. POSITION PURPOSE: Directs work associated with the development, administration, and management of maintenance in various trades to include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and glass/flooring repairs.
