Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field required 3+ years of experience in flow forming, metal forming, or heat treat process engineering (preferably in aerospace or high-spec manufacturing) preferred Knowledge of aerospace materials such as titanium, aluminum, Inconel, and stainless steels Experience with NADCAP heat treat requirements, AMS/ASTM specs, and metallurgical testing preferred Strong understanding of material science principles, residual stress control, and microstructure-property relationships Familiarity with flow forming machines, furnaces, pyrometry, and temperature control systems Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent) and data analysis tools (Minitab, Excel) Job Description The Flow Forming/Heat Treat Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes related to flow forming, heat treatment, and associated metallurgical operations for aerospace components.
