Perform maintenance, overhaul and repair of compressor station equipment by performing such duties as: dismantling compressor station equipment, cleaning parts, inspecting vital parts for wear, repairing and/or replacing worn engine parts, fitting, realigning and assembling equipment, starting up, checking and adjusting equipment for proper operation (setting ignition, timing, injection valve clearance, etc.). Working knowledge of operations and maintenance of gas engines, compressors, automatic control equipment, and other auxiliary equipment operated by internal combustion engines.
