Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as a finance partner for the SP product and engineering leaders on strategic initiatives, leading planning, business modeling, and financial analysis; Design and develop performance metrics, institute reporting mechanisms, and implement processes to drive insights related to business performance for stakeholders; Facilitate financial and operational metrics review meetings with product and finance leaders and work with business to drive effective execution; Develop financial models for new business initiatives, experimentation, and special projects; Collaborate with business intelligence engineers and data engineers to continually improve and enhance existing reporting and mechanisms, proactively identify performance issues and deep dive to investigate and uncover insights; A day in the life A day in the life of a Sr. Financial Analyst can include - leading a WBR to drive discussions with product teams on business performance, partner with product to investigate KPI trends and prepare a document to be reviewed with senior product leaders, collaborate with BIE and Data Engineering teams to design and implement a new set of metrics in multiple formats (WBR/MBR slides, dashboards) for business stakeholders.
