Job DescriptionJCW has partnered with a leading recurring revenue and venture lending firm in their search for a VP level Credit Underwriter. This experienced professional would be evaluating, structuring, and managing debt investments in the software and healthcare tech sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your recurring revenue underwriting expertise and contribute to a collaborative team where you’ll work closely with the executive management group.Locations: San Diego CA, Austin TX, or San Francisco, CAKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead underwriting efforts for new platform investments, add-on facilities, and loan modifications. Develop persuasive written proposals and present them to the executive team.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Prepare detailed monthly portfolio analysis reports and quarterly client updates for the recurring revenue loan portfolio.</li><li>Conduct thorough due diligence on new investment opportunities. This includes detailed analysis of products, financial statements, industry trends, and business plans.</li><li>Collaborate with legal, corporate finance, and other teams on various projects to drive overall business success.</li></ul>Desired Skills & Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or economics with 3-9 years of experience in private credit or investment banking.</li><li>Underwriting experience with a specific focus in healthcare tech and/or software investments.</li><li>Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling capabilities.</li></ul>For more information, please contact Elijah Ervin at 646-741-2166 or elijah.ervin@jcwresourcing.com.
