Phillips Staffing is seeking a 1st shift Painter/Finisher to join the team at company in Fountain Inn that specializes in retail interior décor including the design, manufacturing, and installation! Responsibilities:<ul><li>Apply latex or lacquer-based coatings to various substrates. Use and maintain airless paint equipment and cup-type spray guns.</li><li>Maintain material workflow in a productive manner. Complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to quality and detail.</li><li>Stay on feet throughout the day with general pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending required.</li><li>Spray lacquers, stain, and paint.</li><li>Knowledge of wood products and finish.</li><li>Keep Work Orders together.</li><li>Use variety of hand tools.</li><li>Perform maintenance on spray equipment and keep finishing products in inventory.</li><li>Turn in time sheets daily with correct Work Order numbers, time per job, and material used per job.</li><li>Keep safe and clean work area.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>3-5 years’ experience in finishing wood products.   </li><li>Previous experience in industrial painting</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to keep a clean work station</li><li>Ability to handle physical workload</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Shift Schedule: 1st Shift- 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday starting at either 6 or 7 a.m.  The schedule on Fridays varies, but is typically shorter if scheduled to work. Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/Hour DOE #IND3
