ESSENTIAL DUTIES<ul><li style="line-height:107%">Primary responsibility is professional spray application of finishes on custom cabinetry, ensuring consistent color, sheen and film build across projects.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Perform high-quality spray application of stains, sealers, toners, paints, lacquers and conversion varnishes using air-assisted, HVLP, or conventional spray equipment.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Prepare wood surfaces specifically for spray finishing, including sanding sequences, grain raising, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion and appearance.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Set up, adjust, and maintain spray guns, pumps, pressure pots, tips, and fluid settings to achieve proper atomization and finish consistency.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Maintain a clean and organized spray booth, including proper filtration, airflow awareness, and material handling processes.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Other finishing duties as needed including touch-ups, color matching, and final inspection.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Ability to lift up to 50lbs multiple times per day.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Looking for experience but will train right candidate.</li></ul>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li style="line-height:107%">Demonstrated experience with spray application of wood coatings in a production or shop environment. </li><li style="line-height:107%">Strong understanding of spray gun setup, fan patterns, fluid control, air pressure adjustments, and transfer efficiency. </li><li style="line-height:107%">Familiarity with various coating systems such as waterborne finishes, lacquers, conversion varnishes, stains, and sealers.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Ability to multi-task.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Ability to maintain standard of quality through detailed inspection.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Hardworking, punctual and reliable.</li><li style="line-height:107%">Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-end finished wood surfaces. </li><li style="line-height:107%">Team player</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Prior experience operating spray finishing equipment strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience in cabinetry, millwork, furniture finishing, automotive paint, or similar spray environments is beneficial.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>At all times, employees are required to be fit for duty.</li><li>Employees are required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Employees stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Employees may work in loud work areas.</li><li>Ability to wear respiratory protection and PPE for extended periods while spraying finishes.</li><li>This position may require annual respiratory fit test. </li></ul>COMPANY STANDARDS<ul><li>The employee will represent the Company in a positive, professional manner with fellow employees and within the communities served.</li><li>The employee will encourage and maintain teamwork throughout the company and will communicate all pertinent information in a timely and effective manner.</li><li>The employee will endeavor to maintain our integrity by embracing high ethical standards and adhering to company policies.</li><li>Consistently demonstrates Company's Guiding Values of Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Integrity, Teamwork, and Community.</li></ul>
