Ability to perform a variety of road repair and maintenance functions, including operation of heavy road construction equipment and machinery, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, department heads, County employees, outside agencies/vendors and the general public. Graduation from High School or General Education Development (GED) certificate and at least two (2) years progressively responsible experience in road maintenance and construction including two (2) year lead or supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
