About the Role: Join Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, Inc. as a PRN Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and make a difference in the lives of survivors. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate and expert care to individuals affected by sexual assault while working alongside a dedicated team in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Conduct comprehensive forensic examinations for survivors of sexual assault.</li><li>Collect and document evidence in accordance with legal protocols.</li><li>Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients.</li><li>Collaborate with law enforcement and legal personnel as needed.</li><li>Educate patients on follow-up care and available resources.</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and professional development.</li><li>Advocate for patient rights and ensure a trauma-informed approach.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Current RN license in the state of Georgia.</li><li>Certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) preferred, however, training options available.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.</li><li>Live within 30-45 minutes from Macon & Warner Robins.</li><li>Experience with trauma-informed care practices.</li><li>Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient advocacy.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.</li></ul>About Us: Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, Inc. has been serving the community since 1980, providing essential support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
