p>Skills and Experience: Minimum two+ years of experience as Medical Receptionist/Front Desk, preferably in a busy medical practice or healthcare facility Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required Excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills Ability to work under pressure and react effectively Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPPA regulations, ICD and CPT coding (highly advantageous) Strong patient orientation Proficient in using electronic medical record Passionate about healthcare excellence. CMA: • Take patient medical history • Explain treatments or procedures to patients • Cleans and sterilizes designated equipment after use • Prepare patients and assists Physicians with procedures • Assists patient with obtaining food, toileting, post-op movement, and maintaining comfort • Instruct patients about medication and special diets • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a Physician or Licensed Provider • Ensures exam rooms and treatment areas are cleaned after each patient leaves and prepared for the next patient • Assists with light housekeeping duties which include spills • Stocks exam room/treatment rooms with medical supplies, linen, and designated chart forms • Ensures chart is maintained with relevant lab work and test results • Assists in escorting patients and specimens throughout the facility • Obtains vital signs, weights, and EKGs when needed, and all other tests within the scope of the practice • Assist with blood collection/phlebotomy as needed • Other duties as may be assigned. • Robotic-Assisted Surgery - featuring the Da Vinci XI and ExcelsiusGPS systems • Neurosurgery & Spine Care - including Stealth Navigation and precision-guided treatment • Women's Health & Maternity - comprehensive services tailored for every stage • Imaging & Diagnostics - AI-enhanced systems for faster, more accurate results • Outpatient & Specialty Care - coordinated care across multiple disciplines.
JOB PURPOSE: The Receptionist covers the front desk and supports daily operations by answering calls, coordinating mailings, maintaining CRM records, as well as providing administrative support for building management, tenant coordination, and office organization to ensure efficient operations across departments.
