Overview:
<p style="text-align:justify">UF Health Central Florida, including Leesburg and Spanish Plaines Hospitals, is seeking a Director of Foundation to lead and advance its philanthropic initiatives. They will be responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and overall management of the Foundation, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. This role provides direction for all fundraising and development activities while overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, and program execution.</p><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><div><section dir="auto"><div><div dir="auto" tabindex="0"><p style="text-align:justify">This job reports to the Executive Director/President of UF Health Leesburg Hospital Foundation/UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation. Responsibilities:
<ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Work with Executive Director/President on the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising and development strategy.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Oversee daily program management.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Responsible for managing a portfolio of major gifts donors and performing to key metrics and fundraising goals associated with identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and governmental requirements.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Partner with Executive Director/President and Foundation Boards to establish strategic priorities and drive organizational growth.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Work with Executive Director/President on development strategy, donor engagement, and program effectiveness.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Participate in Board meetings as appropriate, providing updates and recommendations, while serving as a non-voting member.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Bachelor's degree required.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Master's degree preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong></p><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) or Certified Fundraising Manager (CFRM) preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Minimum of five (5) years of progressive fundraising experience within a healthcare foundation.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding donor relationships.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Proven experience leading fundraising initiatives, including special events and planned giving programs.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Track record of managing or supporting capital campaigns for major healthcare projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Additional Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="font-size:10pt">Strong, innovative leadership capabilities with the ability to drive strategic growth.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Proficiency with donor management systems such as Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM platforms.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li style="font-size:10pt">Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, board members, and community stakeholders.</li></ul>
