POSITION SUMMARY: Surgical Assistant II is responsible for performing the duties of moving surgical equipment and furniture, cleaning tasks, linen supply management, schedule distribution, errands and ensuring effective communication between themself, the managers, the patients, peers, staff, physicians, and other hospital departments. It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services.
