The Naval Examination Acquisition Project (NEAP) has established the mission need, certified their earned value management system, and is proceeding into final design, but has yet to set the total project cost, providing an opportunity for the advisor PM to draw on SFHP lessons learned as well as industry practices to identify improved tools or processes to streamline NEAP, IIER, and future MSP communications and reporting. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston.
