The City of Wilmington is seeking a Police Department Communications Manager who will oversee the departments comprehensive communications program, develop and implement strategic internal and external communications to advance the department's organizational priorities, promote transparency, strengthen public trust, and foster meaningful public understanding of the departments mission and services. Or, Bachelor's Degree in Communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, digital media, or a related field, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in local government, complex program management, communications, or a related field, including supervisory or lead experience.
