Position Title: Graduate Assistant for Womens Soccer
Reports to: Head Womens Soccer CoachPrimary Function:
The GA will be responsible for assisting the head coach in the daily operations and overall administration of the varsity athletic program. They will provide an excellent transformative student-athlete experience, demonstrate positive progress in competitive standing in the Presidents Athletic Conference, and recruit student-athletes to the college.## Required Qualifications<ul><li>Collegiate playing experience, managing or student coaching experience, and demonstrated leadership.</li><li>Education: Bachelors degree.</li></ul>## Essential Duties<ul><li>Assist head coach in practice organization and game day coaching.</li><li>Lead training and practice sessions ensuring that all guidelines and standards are maintained.</li><li>Assist head coach with all phases of recruiting: generating contact lists, tournament preparation, follow-up contacts, scheduling of campus visits, and promoting the program via social media.</li><li>Assist with administrative duties as directed by the head coach: academic supervision of team members, conditioning, offseason programs, travel arrangements, meals, and supplies, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.</li><li>Assist with scouting and film study to present and show to the team.</li><li>Assist with programs budget and develop and implement fund raising programs to supplement operating funds.</li><li>Attend and be involved in coachs meetings and implement strategies resulting from these meetings.</li><li>Assigned responsibilities within the daily operations and overall administration of the varsity sport program.</li><li>Performs other duties and special projects that may be assigned within the College.</li></ul>## Special Challenges and Environment<ul><li>Frequent nights and weekends.</li><li>Frequent work outdoors, often in adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.</li><li>All positions require the incumbent to be able to fully embrace the unique mission and identity of the College as a Catholic Benedictine liberal arts and sciences institution.</li></ul>## Diversity Statement

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.</li><li>Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.</li><li>Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.</li><li>Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.</li><li>Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.</li></ul>
