Under the direct supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist, the SLP-A will: Implement bedside treatment plans in the pediatric intensive care units and across inpatient acute care units focusing on AAC intervention, developmental care, early rehabilitation, and communication accessibility. The ideal SLP-A candidate is experienced in providing pediatric speech, language, and communication interventions with significant experience in the broad scope of AAC tools and strategies, including no-tech, low-tech, and high-tech solutions.
