Position Summary: Under direct supervision and within an established scope of practice, assists the provider with specialized patient care, assist with examinations, treatments, and special procedures of patients and preparing patients for specialized exams as directed by San Ysidro Health policies and procedures in a medical office or clinic setting. Experience Required (Minimum level of experience): Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or recent work history in a Specialty MA role setting including but not limited to; Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Acupuncture, Allergy, Immunology.
