What this job involves: As a Lead Operating Engineer at JLL, you will act as a working supervisor by providing guidance and training during the night shift while maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls), electrical (lighting, primary switch gear), and hot water systems, monitoring operation, adjusting, and maintaining refrigeration, chilled water, reverse osmosis system, air compressor systems, and air conditioning equipment along with ventilating and hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping and filters. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to operational excellence by complying with departmental policy for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining clean and safe workplace, overseeing contractor activities within buildings, and keeping records of building rounds, readings, and engineering logs while ensuring understanding and compliance with emergency escalation procedures and Critical Facility Work processes.
