Also responsible for the management and administration of American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) and International Services (IS) U.S. programs and services to include International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Youth Action Campaign (YAC), and Restoring Family Links (RFL), within their area of jurisdiction. Deployment assignments may involve prolonged standing or walking, navigating uneven terrain, climbing stairs, handling equipment and personal gear, extended work hours, exposure to environmental and operational challenges, and the use of required personal protective equipment.
