Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of emergency department registered nurse experience and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; proficiency in triage, peripheral intravenous access, port access and de-access, urinary catheter placement, nasogastric and orogastric tube placement, wound care, and splint or orthopedic cast application. Responsibilities include managing a 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratio, assisting with arterial line, central line, and chest tube placement, responding to behavioral health placement needs, transporting patients, answering call lights, preparing certain medication infusions, and completing required emergency medical treatment and labor documentation.
