Strong understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, including acquiring, issuing, card networks, gateways, processors, independent software vendors, payment facilitators, point-of-sale solutions, digital wallets, ACH, settlement, funding, reconciliation, interchange, authentication, fraud, chargebacks, and data security. · Evaluate healthcare-specific workflows such as patient collections, pre-service and point-of-care payments, post-visit balances, card-on-file, payment plans, text-to-pay, online bill pay, auto-posting, reconciliation, and integration with practice management, EHR/EMR, and revenue cycle systems.
