div> Join BJC HealthCare’s Central Staffing Office (CSO) as a Regional Float Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Assignment (LTA) and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the system. Uses the nursing process and evidence based practice to develop and implement the plan of care, collect assessment data for each patient, determine appropriate nursing diagnoses, identify expected patient outcomes, determine the plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care through telehealth assessment in HCA ER's, reviews, evaluates and presents clinical presentations of patients requiring psychiatric hospitalization to the admitting physician at RPC and works with a multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate care for patients identified with a psychiatric illness. Key tasks within the department are reviewing clinical presentations for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, responding to community inquiry calls and performing telehealth level of care assessments.
In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
