Required Qualifications: Registered nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); at least 1 year of long-term care experience; at least 2 years of inpatient acute-care experience within the last 3 years in the submitted specialty; long-term acute care experience; proficiency with patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, feeding tubes, catheter care, intravenous medication administration, infection control, documentation, patient education, and care planning. Additional Information: The position supports adult and geriatric patients and includes a staffing model of one registered nurse per hall, one medication technician per hall, and certified nursing assistant coverage of approximately 1:810 during day shifts and 1:20 during night shifts.
