Required skills include PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips (heparin, Lasix, Protonix), epidural management, ostomy care, blood product administration, telemetry interpretation, wound care (packing, wound vacs, dressing changes), and pre/post heart cath care (Fem./TR bands, no interventions). Unit Details: Patient population includes post-surgical Whipple, vascular, pre/post heart cath, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open abdomen, and thyroid surgery patients, as well as dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, and fall-risk patients.
