FTE : 1.0, Shift : Varies, Schedule : Varies Position Overview: Acute Care General Surgery coverage for two hospitals located approximately 10 miles apart in South King County: - Auburn Medical Center (AMC) is a Level 3 Trauma Center - Covington Medical Center (CMC) is a community hospital Details: • Schedule: 188 daytime shifts per year, split between the two hospitals • Daytime shifts will be at one hospital at a time • 10 Hour Day Shifts • 61 nights (14 Hours) of at home call coverage per year • Call coverage will cover AMC fully and CMC by phone only • 30 minute response time to AMC required for trauma activations • Minimal clinic responsibilities.
