More specifically, the functions involve energy conservation, building renovation/repair, occupational safety and health, landscape design, event planning, vehicle and equipment maintenance/repair, motor pool and housekeeping services to 15 residence halls, 40 academic buildings, 15 research buildings, 21 support buildings and 19 university farm buildings; campus lighting, water and sewer, and electrical distribution system. This position serves as the subject matter expert for plumbing systems in a complex institutional environment and exercises independent judgment in planning, supervising, and executing work affecting life safety, public health, regulatory compliance, and continuity of campus operations.
