Performs rough carpentry work in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding, forms, wood fixtures, and furniture. Assists in the performance of skilled hand work in a carpentry shop and operates various tools including, but not limited to power saws, jointers, wood lathes, planers, and various electrical tools.
