This position partners closely with nursing leadership, clinical operations, infection prevention, physical medicine & rehabilitation, security, behavioral health, workers compensation and colleague safety staff to identify injury trends, conduct clinical safety assessments, develop interventions, and provide education to frontline staff. The Clinical Safety Specialist (RN) serves as the clinical subject matter expert within the Colleague Safety Department, focusing on prevention of healthcare-specific colleague injuries and reduction of OSHA recordable events.
