The Dean establishes the strategic direction of the College; develops its faculty and academic leadership; ensures the quality, relevance, and sustainability of its academic portfolio; allocates resources; advances enrollment and student success; strengthens external relationships - especially those connected to serving the schools and churches of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod; and represents the College within the University and to external constituencies. Position Purpose: The Dean of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS) serves as the chief academic and executive leader of the College and is accountable to the Provost for its mission, academic quality, people, programs, enrollment, resources, and long-term vitality.
