Performs highly skilled pipefitting and installs, repairs, adjusts, or modifies all types of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating and ventilating equipment; replaces or repairs all supporting systems such as electrostatic filters, pneumatic and electronic controls, pumps and fan motors. Reads and interprets sketches, blueprints and layouts, determining amount of material and time involved; makes cost estimates; compiles reports, requisitions, work orders, inventory lists and project reports/records.
