HVAC Tech 1: • Verifiable completion of training courses in International Mechanical Code (IMC), HVAC, and refrigerant safety installation, repair, and maintenance (i.e., OSHA Safety) • Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) or other workplace safety certifications • Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems (EMS) • Asbestos Operations & Maintenance O&M Certification, Confined Space Certification, and Fall Protection Certification or ability to obtain certifications within one year of hire • HVAC experience from a commercial contractor or an institutional complex.
