The Lab Supervisor may be responsible for interfacing with other departments, physicians and their office staff, patients and their families, visitors and Lab employees, as needed and acts in concert with the Laboratory Director/Manager to counsel employees for performance evaluations and / or disciplinary action, as needed. May be assigned quality and data reviews, supply evaluation and ordering, workflow monitoring, safety and ergonomic evaluations – to include environment of care rounds, regulatory reviews, inspections and follow-up when needed.
