ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise, coordinate, and direct the daily activities of a crew of 10–14 employeesAssign daily tasks and monitor work quality and productivityEnforce company policies, safety procedures and proper equipment useAddress performance issues and provide coaching as neededOperate tractors and other light equipment for ground maintenance Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality workmanshipEnsure headstones, monuments, and grave markers are protected during maintenanceOperate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, tractors, etc.)Schedule routine maintenance and repairs of equipmentMonitor inventory of tools, supplies, and landscaping materialsEnsure compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and cemetery policiesConduct safety briefings and enforce PPE requirementsCommunicate effectively with management, staff, and cemetery personnelMaintain records of crew performance, timekeeping, and project completionAddress on-site issues and provide effective problem resolutionPromote teamwork and maintain a respectful, professional work environmentAssist with planning schedules and staffing needsMaintains a clean and safe work environment.
