Working collaboratively across the institution, this position leverages financial expertise, technology solutions, and data metrics to support informed decision-making, maintain strong internal controls, and advance strategic initiatives that support the University's mission and the CFO Division's goals. This role provides strategic leadership and professional development for accounting staff, leads critical month-end and year-end close activities, ensures compliance with GASB and applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations, and supports the University's financial reporting objectives.
