The Director provides strategic and operational leadership for medication management across inpatient and ambulatory behavioral health programs; advances safe, effective, and evidence-based psychopharmacotherapy; partners with psychiatry, nursing, medicine, quality, and hospital leadership; and oversees pharmacy operations, clinical services, formulary management, controlled-substance accountability, quality and safety initiatives, technology, finance, workforce development, education, and regulatory readiness. The Department of Pharmacy supports this highly specialized environment through safe medication-use systems, clinical pharmacy services, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, education, operational stewardship, and collaboration with interdisciplinary behavioral health teams.
