Inspect all incoming production material from vendors to assure compliance to Engineering specifications, and ability to use special testing equipment such as hardness testers, plating thickness tester, motor vibrations and electrical specifications testers, special testing equipment, etc. Lay out parts on surface plate as necessary; proficient in using various measuring tools: vernier height gauges, surface gauges, dial indicators, micrometers or other precision measuring instruments appropriate to specific case.
