A strong knowledge and background in GD&T, including but not limited to interpreting and inspecting true position, profile of a surface and line, parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, circularity, cylindricity, flatness, straightness, angularity, runout and total runout, symmetry, basic dimensions, and datum reference frames. + Typically requires an associate's degree, trade school certificate, military training, or equivalent in quality inspections or certification by a professional group such as ASQ or AWS, and three or more years of progressive experience in mechanical inspection.
