The Associate Director performs project management responsibilities for assigned projects, establishes project priorities, coordinates internal and external resources, monitors project performance, and addresses issues affecting successful completion; ensures project timelines and budgets are developed, monitored and achieved; and oversees existing-condition evaluations, installation and renovation activities, vendor and contractor performance, and compliance with established design, operational, and project requirements; and performs related work as required. Under the supervision of the Director of Design and Space Management, the Associate Director of Interior Design (Associate Director 3) provides managerial oversight and direction for the day-to-day operations of renovation and refurbishment projects; coordinates and oversees the allocation and implementation of space projects; and establishes and implements interior design criteria for the Union, Jersey City, and satellite campuses of Kean University.
