The CT technologist Intern work under the supervision of the preceptor, physician, to provide radiologic care and services to patients by arranging and operating equipment in order to produce images of the human body for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Work involves using many physical motions in performing daily work activities; subject to exposure of body fluids, communicable diseases, CRT (computer) equipment, sputum and tissues, which may carry the hazard of infectious disease.
