You like to ask questions, test assumptions, and challenge conventional thinking.</li><li>You develop influential relationships based upon shared risk objectives and trust to deliver outstanding business impact.</li><li>You create energy and an environment that fosters trust, collaboration, and belonging, making it easy to attract, hire, and retain top talent.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Partner with the External Affairs teams in the development and drive the execution of the risk management strategy and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.</li><li>Partner with the business partners to deliver on the identification and development of risks, issues, and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.</li><li>Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications</li><li>Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives</li><li>Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups</li><li>Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification</li><li>At least 1 year of experience in the Financial Services or Technology industry, or a combination</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in project, program, process or risk management, or a combination</li><li>At least 3 years of experience facilitating and leading discussions across various disciplines</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or military experience</li><li>3+ years of experience in risk management, technology, or a related discipline</li><li>3+ years of experience in Risk Management</li><li>1+ years of experience in Financial Services industry</li><li>1+ years of experience in controls development, controls management, risk reporting activities such as process level assessments and risk and control self assessments</li><li>3+ years of leading highly cross-functional programs</li><li>3+ years of experience consulting with senior executives or strategy building, or a combination</li></ul>At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
