The Company's Precision Seals Test & Validation team within Company s Integrated Components Division (ICD) is currently seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to work on metal face seals used on Company machines. The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for Company world-wide validation of metal face seals. As a Test & Validation Engineer in this team, you will serve as an individual contributor on projects and assignments that support and enhance Company product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability. Opportunity to build up test and do data analysis, and conduct troubleshooting - Opportunity for the research and development side and exposure to validate new technologies or new processes Typical task breakdown: 
Job Duties & Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 
<ul><li>Operate and maintain multiple seal validation test benches -</li><li>Author and update safe job & lock out tag out procedures for seal test equipment -</li><li>Manage internal/external validation test requests and support quality/material/design improvement projects -</li><li>Perform/Apply root cause analysis on field returns -</li><li>Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projects -</li><li>Collaborate with system engineering teams, internal and external, to identify/validate optimum sealing system solutions -</li><li>Create and deliver technical reports -</li><li>Research and develop new sealing technologies -</li></ul> Interaction with team: 
 Working closely with test validation engineers, design engineers, account customers within Company; working with other teams - Team Structure: 4 test validation engineers Work environment: <ul><li>Office environment: half of their time is in LAB setting </li><li>PPE required, safety toe shoes, prescription safety glasses, ear protection</li></ul>Education & Experience Required: 
Years of experience: 0 -2 years - Degree requirement: BS Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace, Agricultural; 2nd preferred metallurgical, advanced physics - Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes

Job Title: Dev/Research Engineer 2 Location: Mossville, IL 61552 (On-Site) Duration: 24 Months Daily Schedule: 7.30AM to 4.00PM Job Description: Position s Contributions to Work Group: - Test engineer is a key role in engine development to provide successful execution of the test plan. - Effective Test cell and engine troubleshooting helps to minimize downtime and improve productivity. - Individual will regularly review look ahead of test plan with senior engineers and prepare for engine and test cell setup. Interaction with team: - This position will be required to attend daily standup meeting with core team as well as hand off meeting for continuous operation. - Individual will provide updates, participate in troubleshooting discussion, help reach to consensus on action plan and communicate results to technical team. Team Structure - Team has ~15 engineers from entry level to 20 years experience in various roles supporting test operation, engine hardware validation, and performance/emission data analysis. Work environment: - We have developed a training process for test operation that will ease the onboarding experience. - While conducting daily/hourly test activities is a fast-paced environment, there is opportunity for flexible schedule framework depending on test activities.
