Advises students in one-on-one appointments and conducting group presentations on a wide variety of career development topics, such as advantages associated with pre-professional experiences, university, state, and federal laws affecting career planning, placement, and recruitment, resume, cover letter, reference, and writing sample preparation, internship search resources, networking opportunities, and interviewing techniques, and general professional etiquette guidelines. Serves as career development liaison to students and faculty from their assigned academic colleges and assigned departments with responsibility for advising students on career opportunities and resources available, communicating with faculty/staff to maintain relationships with the college, and conducting career development presentations for students and registered student organizations.
