Summer Internship Program Guidelines Program Overview The Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to the construction industry, with a focus on underground utility work. Interns will gain practical experience, learn essential safety practices, and explore career opportunities in the skilled trades. Other internship opportunities such as Surveyors (AutoCAD), Equipment Mechanics, HR, and Finance will also be available.  Program Duration<ul><li>Typical duration: 6–10 weeks during summer months</li><li>Work schedule: 20–40 hours per week</li></ul> Eligibility Requirements Participants must:<ul><li>Be at least 17 years old </li><li>Be enrolled in high school, trade school, or college</li><li>Have reliable transportation to job sites or designated meeting areas</li><li>Demonstrate interest in construction, skilled trades, or business</li><li>Submit any required school consent forms</li></ul> Program Objectives Interns will:<ul><li>Gain exposure to underground utility construction (water, sewer, storm systems)</li><li>Learn job site safety standards and OSHA basics</li><li>Understand construction workflows and team roles</li><li>Develop basic hands-on skills under supervision</li><li>Build professional work habits and communication skills</li></ul> Intern Responsibilities<ul><li>Follow all company safety rules and wear required PPE at all times</li><li>Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance</li><li>Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leads</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn</li><li>Respect coworkers, equipment, and job sites</li></ul> Company Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide a safe and structured learning environment</li><li>Assign a supervisor or mentor for each intern</li><li>Deliver basic safety training and orientation</li><li>Provide necessary PPE</li><li>Offer meaningful, supervised work experiences</li></ul> Safety Guidelines<ul><li>Safety is a condition of participation</li><li>Interns must attend all safety orientations and toolbox talks</li><li>No operation of heavy equipment unless explicitly authorized and trained</li><li>Immediate reporting of hazards, injuries, or unsafe conditions</li><li>Zero tolerance for unsafe behavior</li></ul> Work Activities Interns may assist with:<ul><li>Site preparation and cleanup</li><li>Material handling and staging</li><li>Observing trenching, pipe installation, and utility layout</li><li>Basic tool use under supervision</li><li>Traffic control assistance (if trained)</li></ul> Supervision and Evaluation<ul><li>Interns will be supervised at all times by qualified personnel</li><li>Regular check-ins will be conducted</li><li>A final evaluation may be completed at the end of the program</li></ul> Compensation <ul><li>Interns will be paid hourly based on company standards</li><li>Overtime eligibility will follow applicable labor laws</li></ul> Attendance and Conduct<ul><li>Interns must follow company attendance policies</li><li>Unexcused absences may result in removal from the program</li><li>Professional behavior is required at all times</li></ul> Disciplinary Action Violation of company policies may result in:<ul><li>Verbal warning</li><li>Removal from job site</li><li>Termination from the internship program</li></ul> Program Completion Upon successful completion, interns may:<ul><li>Receive a certificate of completion</li><li>Be considered for future employment opportunities</li><li>Receive a letter of recommendation </li></ul> Intern Meetings/Huddles<ul style="margin-bottom:11px"><li style="margin-bottom:11px;margin-left:8px">Interns will be required to attend 3 group meetings: Welcome Orientation, Midway Check-in, and Program Completion Meeting</li></ul>Powered by JazzHR

Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated AI & Operations Automation Intern to support the Innovation, Digital Transformation & Growth (IDTG) team. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern AI tools, automation platforms, and digital transformation practices. The successful candidate will contribute to corporate AI implementation, process automation initiatives, and technology research to produce meaningful deliverables.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>AI Implementation Support: Assist in maintaining the enterprise AI use case catalog and supporting the AI Communication Platform in Teams and SharePoint. </li><li>Process Automation: Support the design and development of Power Automate workflows and automated pipelines to streamline operations. </li><li>AI Solution Development: Participate in the creation and testing of CustomGPTs, Gems, and Copilot Studio-based solutions. </li><li>Technology Research: Conduct technology landscape research and analyze emerging AI and digital transformation tools to provide recommendations for leadership. </li><li>Program Support: Assist with documentation, tracking, and reporting across IDTG initiatives, including preparing weekly activity reports and slide decks. </li><li>Internal Communication: Contribute to internal AI awareness efforts and documentation. </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Junior or senior undergraduate student, or recent graduate, in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems, or a related field. </li><li>Technical Skills: Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams and SharePoint). </li><li>Soft Skills: Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly. </li><li>Communication: Ability to interpret technical information and communicate it clearly to non-technical audiences. </li><li>Preferred Experience: Exposure to prompt engineering, AI tools, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.  </li></ul>
