If you enjoy working outdoors in a professional and safe environment, consider a Summer Internship with Bartlett Tree Experts!  As an Arboriculture Intern, you will work alongside Bartlett's dedicated team of arborists, gaining practical field experience in scientific tree and shrub care on commercial and residential properties. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career in arboriculture through hands-on training. Our Summer Internships are 8-12 weeks, 40 hours per week, and generally, start in May (start and end dates are flexible based on your availability). Benefits:

As an Arboriculture Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of scientific tree and shrub care, while exploring different facets of this rewarding industry. Your internship may provide the following hands-on experience:<ul><li>Learning and safely performing different aspects of arboriculture, including:<ul><li>Pruning</li><li>Rigging</li><li>Cabling and bracing</li><li>Root collar excavations</li><li>Removals</li><li>Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)</li></ul></li><li>Gaining an understanding of integrated pest management programs, including: <ul><li>Property inspections</li><li>Tree identification</li><li>Insect and disease identification and management</li><li>Soil sampling</li><li>Record-keeping, report writing, and client relations</li></ul></li><li>Participating in safety and training meetings and developing professional relationships and friendships</li></ul>Qualifications:

MeeDerby is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the staffing and workforce solutions space. Youll work directly with our Marketing & Technology Manager and collaborate with the broader team to support research, outreach materials, and data hygiene initiatives that keep our recruiting pipeline and market intelligence sharp. 
 

Were hiring a Summer Intern to support marketing research, sales enablement, database upkeep, help us stay current on industry trends and improve the systems that power our search work. What you will do:<ul><li>
	Track and summarize staffing industry trends, news, articles, and thought leadership (daily/weekly cadence).
	</li><li>
	Support content and marketing initiatives by contributing ideas, drafts, and creative improvements to materials.
	</li><li>
	Assist with database hygiene projects related to candidates, clients, and pipeline organization.
	</li><li>
	Conduct research on target client companies, market segments, and competitors (sales enablement support).
	</li><li>
	Compile findings into clear weekly updates for the team and Marketing & Technology Manager.
	</li></ul>What were looking for:<ul><li>
	Interest in the staffing/recruiting industry, business development, marketing, or research/analytics.
	</li><li>
	Strong written communication skills (clear summaries, concise updates, good grammar).
	</li><li>
	Ability to organize information and manage multiple small projects independently.
	</li><li>
	Comfort working in spreadsheets and learning new tools/software quickly.
	</li><li>
	Attention to detail (especially for data cleanup and research accuracy).
	</li><li>
	Self-starter mindset and reliability in a remote work environment.
	</li></ul>Required skills / experience:<ul><li>
	Currently pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate degree; relevant majors include Marketing, Business, Communications, HR, or related fields.

	Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs/Sheets or Word/Excel).

	Ability to commit ~20 hours per week during the summer term.
