Additionally, the radiologist will perform light interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal, CT-guided, US-guided), drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tubes, cysts), lumbar punctures (diagnostic, myelogram, epidural), and joint injections (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder). The role involves handling diverse subspecialty case mix such as emergency imaging, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatric, and mammography diagnostics.
